Experience Level: Beginner |
Time Required: 45 minutes |
Steps: 10 |
Supplies: Wiring Solution™, screwdriver, hammer, level, caulk (optional), paint (optional) |

STEP 1
Wall mounted flat television height is set for wire channel

STEP 2
Position and level wire channel

STEP 3
With wire channel held in position, place the provided screws into the pre-drilled holes and screw into sheetrock wall. Then remove screws.
NOTE: For articulating wall mount applications, a third screw is provided and may be installed at the top of the channel by drilling a new hole and performing this same task.

STEP 4
With the holes made by the mounting screws, carefully tap wall anchors into screw holes and flush with wall surface.

STEP 5
Insert audio/video and power cables into the channels by slipping the wires under the wire retainer flaps. This will hold the cables in place during the remaining installation process.

STEP 6
Position the wire channel and index screws into wall anchor holes and hand tighten to a snug fit, but do not overtighten.

STEP 7
The wire channel can be caulked but this is optional and makes for a more seamless look when painted.

STEP 8
Match the wire channel with room color paint or pre-paint wire channel as another option.

STEP 9
When the surface mount project is completed, the wire channel is ready for its final connection and components.
