A BNC Connector (an acronym for “Bayonet Neill-Concelman” because of its bayonet lugs) has been used since the 1940s for various types of electronics. It was made for military applications. Televisions, radios, networking devices, cameras, monitors, and oscilloscopes are among the places where this kind of connector has been used to terminate coaxial cables. The steps below show you how to attach a crimp-on BNC Connector to a coaxial cable.
