Will the plastic of this product hold up to the heat if the plug would get hot? - If the plug gets hot while in the connector, will the plastic of the connector melt or anything like that?
- Thank you for your question. This plastic is made to resist regular heat from an electrical connection, however, it will not hold up to extreme temperatures.
Will this work with Christmas Lights

I am a commercial industrial roofer and many times we plug 100' of 12 nm cord to each other then tie a loop in it to keep it plugged in when we are dragging the cord around for power tools would this lock the plugs together? if you were dragging say 200' of cord would it lock the 2 cords together so they do not come disconnected and save us from spending 100 of dollar per year in cords?
