Splice Free Spooling:
Some splices are normal during the braiding process. Usually, not more than one or two splices will be on any given spool. Ordering splice-free spools guarantees the maximum continuous yield on your spools. This option is suggested when ordering large lengths of sleeving or for important and precise projects. This treatment is most applicable in lengths that exceed 100 feet. In general, shorter lengths will be splice free as they come off the spools.
Rounding:
Flexo® Rounded is a premium process where Flexo® products are rounded for improved aesthetics, spring, and installation time. Rounding braided sleeving can retain its form for the lifetime of the product. It is commonly used in both retail and medical applications. Rounding services require a minimum spool length of 25 ft. NOTICE: Longer lengths of product may lose some of its shape when applied to or shipped on a spool. Adding the rounded option may increase the processing time of your order by up to 48 hours. Rounding services also require a minimum length of 25 ft. Not Available in all diameters.

NYLON (NY) is commonly used in the automotive industry to protect wires and hoses from excessive wear. Vibration and abrasion can tear automotive hoses to pieces, but nylon expandable braided sleeving can increase hose life up to 300%. This lengthened lifespan is recognized in terms of reduced maintenance and downtime, an attractive and professional appearance and greater customer satisfaction. With the protection that this NYL nylon hose sleeve provides, it pays for itself throughout the life of your product.
NY is braided from .012" Nylon® 6-6 polyamide monofilament. The tight braid construction covers fully and provides excellent surface abrasion resistance for assemblies exposed to excessive wear. The smooth Nylon fibers and tight construction also reduce abrasion damage caused by hoses and harnesses rubbing against the inside wall of the nylon hose sleeve.
NY resists all common automotive chemicals and UV damage. It won't rot or retain moisture.
