Roundit 2000 is the perfect balance between Expandable Braided Sleeving and Split Wire Loom / Corrugated Tubing. It splits in the middle for easy insertion and installation of wires or bundles of cables. It is a tough, lightweight oversleeve used to bundle and protect cable assemblies, hoses and wire harnesses from chaffing, cutting, and abrading. Since it is heat treated and keeps its original form, you don't need to use cable ties to secure cable harnesses (we still recommend their use for long runs). Roundit 2000 is more labor cost effective in the long run than using regular spiral wrap, as it is easily reusable to add of substract cables form a run. It makes cable maintenance easy and breezy.

The self-wrapping feature of Roundit 2000 allows for quick and easy application and removal of the product for assembly and maintenance. It is ideal for cables and lines that are already in place and hard to remove for conventional cable protective solutions, such as automotive applications (engine compartments) or multi-cable strings on or under your desk. Not only does Roundit 2000 protect wires from spilled liquids and sharp edges, but it also gives your application an organized look without disturbing connectors or fittings.

Roundit 2000 is a woven blend of polyester mono-filaments and multi-filaments. This blend in a flat weave construction gives Roundit 2000 a rugged yet smooth texture and appearance. This product is rated to 125°C. Roundit 2000 has many applications in the aeronautical, marine, electronic, furniture accessory and general manufacturing industries.

Hot knife cutting of Roundit 2000 is not required but highly recommended to prevent product from fraying.

Normally our policy is to supply continuous lengths. If it is absolutely necessary to receive one continuous length, please specify.

Nominal size is determined by wrapping product around a mandrel of a given size to obtain an overlap of between 45° and 135°. Roundit 2000 should be tied at intervals if continuous use temperature exceeds 110°C.
