Thomas & Betts has created the first cable tie that can be installed flush without the use of a cable tie installation tool. These zip ties have various breaking points that allow you to break off the cable tie and leave a smooth edge to prevent damaging the cables or scratching the installer.

Installation Instructions:

1. Secure Twist Tail around a bundle of cables.

2. Grasp the excess tail between your thumb and forefinger.

3. Bend at one of the intervals closest to the cable tie head.

4. Bend again in the opposite direction and twist; the tail breaks right off, leaving no sharp edges to scratch your hands or your cables.
