What's special about the MegaDuct?
The MegaDuct heavy-duty cord and hose cover is built to protect large power cords, cables, or hoses from heavy foot traffic or light industrial vehicles. The MegaDuct cord and hose protectors are manufactured by Geist and made of flexible PVC (polyvinyl chloride) material in bright yellow or black. The inside center cord or hose channel is a full 1.25 inches high to hold large cords, cables, or hoses. To assist the installation of larger cords and plugs, the bottom of the center channel may be removed (see "Center Channel Removal Option" instructions below).  |

The MegaDuct cord cover can be used for protection and hazard reduction in many other applications. For example, the Megaduct bumper material can be mounted vertically as a protection bumper on poles or posts - to protect vehicles in tight parking or traffic areas. Other useful applications include truck bumper on loading docks, and dock bumper at boat facilities.

Center Channel Removal Option:
To accommodate large cords with plugs, the center channel may be removed. Using a knife, box cutter, or other sharp blade, safely slice approximately 2 inches along the pre-scored lines on the bottom of the MegaDuct. Use pliers to grip the end of the cut piece and pull the center channel out along the remaining length of the duct.
