What's special about these network testers?
Why use a certification tester? Certification testers are used to determine whether your network meets specific ISO or TIA standards (i.e. Cat 5e, Cat 6 or Cat 7). They are the only option for you in this case. Also if your network is wired with both copper and fiber, use a certification tester. Ideal Industries’ LANTEK® series cable certifiers are being used worldwide to certify networks. More.

Why use a Qualification tester? A Qualification tester is used to determine what speeds your network can handle. It differs from a Certification tester (like the Ideal Industries LANTEK® series) in that a network certification tester insures compliance to industry standards such as TIA/ISO, while a qualification tester is used to troubleshoot a network The Fluke Networks CableIQ Qualification tester allows you to perform various troubleshooting tests to locate your trouble spot.
