To suit many applications dymo replacement labels come in a variety of materials:

Permanent polyester labelscan be used for smooth, flat, textured and rough surfaces and will withstand outdoor exposure.
Flexible nylon labelswere specifically designed for wire and cable marking and can be attached to smooth, flat, high textured and curved surfaces. Flexible nylon labels are not recommended for outdoor use.
Colored vinyl labelsare used primarily for labeling patch panels, electronic panels, and datacom racks but can also be recommended for outdoor use.

In addition to these traditional solutions Dymo also has a heat shrink tubing label. These flame retardant heat shrink labels are a clean, non-adhesive solution to identify and tightly fit your wires and cables. Apply before connecting and then use a heat-gun to position permanently.

The heat shrink labels have a 3:1 shrink ratio
