These Cooper Bussmann RK fuses are current-limiting, dual-element, time-delay fuses which provide a ten second (minimum) at 500% rated amps (8 seconds for 0-30A sizes) which allows 130% FLA sizing for back-up motor overload protection, and single-phasing protection.

The LPS-RK series of fuses are Class R fuses which were created to assist in the prevention of accidental system downgrading. The R Class has a fuse body allowing installation in a fuse clip that will reject both Class H and Class K fuses. This assures that you cannot accidentally downgrade an electrical system designed to be current-limiting.

Class R fuses have an interrupt capacity of 200,000A and are current-limiting, with a rating of either RK-1 or RK-5
