The purpose of the Arlington Electrical Box Extender is to allow you to pull out your electrical box so that it lays flush with the newly installed wall covering, without having to remove or repositioning the existing box. Talk about a way to save yourself some valuable time and money. More |
- Levels and supports the wiring device where the box is set back from the wall surface
- May be trimmed if necessary to accommodate your size specifications
- If you are working with multiple gang boxes, simply trim off sidewall for each extender in the place where that sidewall would be between adjoining wiring devices
- Works in handy boxes and 4" square electrical boxes with plaster rings for single switches or receptacle
- Compatible with all standard outlets, GFCI receptacles
- Allows the electrical contractor to comply with 2002 NEC Article 314-20
